Jeff Farwell, MA

Since 1999, I have practiced intensive shamanic journeying, Inner Guide meditation, and energy healing. I am a full mesa carrier in the Peruvian Inka tradition and a Masters-level graduate of the Four Winds Society Healing the Light Body School.

I grew up in Wisconsin and Washington state. Before running off to join the circus–as I sometimes put it–I worked twenty good years in academic publishing as an editor and press director. I was good at my career and never thought I would do anything else, although it has always been easy and comfortable for me to swim in the world of the “unseen.” One day my wife talked me into a two-day workshop. “You might enjoy it,” she said. At the end of those two days, I knew without a doubt that I had touched a deeper vocation. I have never looked back. Every day brings a deepening as I learn from inner teachers, clients, and the inexplicable experiences that come to anyone who has engaged the world of luminous energy.

As a publisher, I used to complain that everyone had a thirty-page book manuscript in the  desk drawer. On learning my profession they would invariably ask me to publish it. Oh yes, I also have a master’s degree in Islamic Studies and once upon a time even lived a year in Cairo. Egypt is an intense place always moving between magic and frustration. You should go!
